What better to way to enjoy camping in the winter than a sled race? Now, we had no sled dogs, but we did have a large number of able-bodied trailmen. Our three patrols took turns hitching up to our new sled and pulling one of their patrol members on the sled around a one mile course in brisk near-freezing temperatures.

This race was an intense competition that resulted in a tie. Our Cobra patrol tied for first with the Lord’s Servants, a patrol from a neighoring troop.

The troop looks forward to taking their lessons from this event, improving the sled, and returning for next year's event.
